Establishment of Atal Tinkering Lab

Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) is a workspace established by the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) to foster creativity and innovation in students from grades 6 to 12. These labs provide hands-on learning with tools for electronics, robotics, 3D printing, and more, enabling students to develop problem-solving skills and understand STEM concepts through a “do-it-yourself” approach The Atal Tinkering Lab encourages innovation, creativity, and hands-on learning among students. It provides a space where students can explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through practical activities and projects. The lab nurtures a spirit of inquiry and helps students develop critical thinking, creativity, and innovation skills for the future.

Interaction with our Prime Minister :

Our school was ranked among the top 30 schools in India in the 2017–18 ATL Marathon, and we received an opportunity to interact with Prime Minister Narendra Modi through video conferencing.

CELEBRATION OF LAUNCHING CHANDRAYAAN-3

On July 14th ISRO successfully launched Chandrayaan-3 into space.To commemorate the success , Students from class VI to XI designed the rockets with plastic water bottles and reusable materials and launched the rockets enthusiastically in air.

TANTECHNOVA – 2023

Tamil Nadu State Level Hackathon
Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) and SPIC Nagar Higher Secondary School jointly announced the Tamil Nadu State Level Hackathon “TANTECHNOVA – 2023”. We are delighted to share that our team secured the State First Prize for the project “MEDFY”.

VEETUKU ORU VINGYANI 2023

Puthiya Thalaimurai, in collaboration with Alagar Public School, conducted the science competition “Veetuku Oru Vingyani 2023” with around 300 teams participating from various schools across Thoothukudi district. Our school proudly secured the First Prize at the district level.

ROBO RANGERS’24 – An Inter-School Robotic & Quiz Competition.

An Inter-School Robotic, Quiz and Logo-Making Competition was conducted by our School Management and the Atal Tinkering Lab on 31st January at our school auditorium. A total of 15 schools participated across five different categories, and the winners received their prizes from our Director, Mrs. M. Lakshmi Preethi.
